Common Vision hosts classes in school gardens, giving students the opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom. In this setting, students experience and participate in the full life cycle of plants, using each phase of life as a teaching moment. Our goal is to cultivate students to have a deep respect and understanding for the food system and our role within it. During our classes, students develop the skills to grow food, cook food, and see waste not as trash, but as the potential for regeneration.
