Sierra Gold Nurseries donates 200 fruit trees each year to Common Vision. Upon hearing that Fruit Tree Tour needed an additional 200 trees to plant the rest of the school orchards in 2007, they graciously increased their donation with pear, apple, cherry, and olive trees enough to match our needs. When TreePeople, a Los Angeles based nonprofit, gifted over 200 fruit trees to Common Vision in 2002, this truly marked the moment when Fruit Tree Tour was conceived. TreePeople continues to provide Common Vision with 100 trees every year through their Fruit Trees to Combat Hunger program. Trees of Antiquity has been a consistent donor of the best quality heirloom fruit trees to schools across California. Commercial Landscape Supply, Inc revolutionized Fruit Tree Tour with the donation of multiple kinds of tools, shovels, tarps of all sizes and even some new tunes for bus cruising’. Owner friend Mark enjoys fruit pickin in his own yard and was more than willing to forward the Vision with kids all over California.
